Oh Michelle this is wonderful. You are so modest, I should have known you won some also. Congrats to both of you for a job well done.
Michelle I got my box today. What great fans 3 & 4 and a prolif on Ledgewoods Pansy eye and then a 3 fan bonus of Coach's Pale Rider. You once again outdid yourself.
Thanks everyone, and congratulations to Michele, she grows daylilies that are show quality, shes also a great competitor and a best friend, I wish her the best of luck today at the Pensacola show.

Michele, congrats also, you are very modest. I'm not surprised that Dragonfly Dawn won something. I agree that Fred's seedling should have won best in show or DD, they are both gorgeous. I used to do the iris shows and I know how exhausting they are. I actually won Best in Show once, it was a total surprise. It is fun to compete and win and you get the fun of seeing everyone elses flowers.
Okay, so I am agreeing with everyone's congratulations and, when I see Michele's name mentioned, just thought that I missed a post somewhere. Then I see the ' thank you for the photos'...huh? So I go back, post by post and there is it, big as life, an entire SLEW of photographs! Michele, I apologize for not congratulating you individually. Put it down to dain bramage.

farmerbell said: I do have one question - how could you sacrifice a whole scape of Dragonfly Dawn?????
I actually started to not cut the scape, but I just knew it would get something. Plus with us all here being about bloomed out and most of the reblooms just weren't ready I wanted to take as many as possible. We love the reactions we get from the people who walk by and see all the different daylilies that they never knew existed.
ok ok here goes. I took several photos of all hoping to get some good photos. Some I took with a black cloth behind them and others were taken before we were finished putting them all on the table so no black cloth. Between the lighting (skylight right above table) and I guess the camera settings (we all know it's operator error ) they are still a bit hazy. I take better photos outside in the garden.
