It's an amazing garden we're touring today, the creation of a man, his plants and his flying friends. We think you are going to enjoy this trip to Illinois. Come join us and be sure to click the images so you can enjoy the full view.
Jay, I only wish I could sit in your garden & listen to all the life going on in it. And to see all the life in it. Your garden is never still. I can only dream of the fragrance.
Yes, you made that; pretty neat!
Thank you for sharing it with us.
And to you Sharon.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
Jay thank you for sharing your wonderful garden and their visitors. I had so much fun looking at all the close ups of the photos.
I could almost smell the lilies in the one photo. So much to see and smell. : )

Thanks Jay and Sharon, Very beautiful and amazing!
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29

Very impressive! My for the good closeup of the hummingbird moth. I know how hard it is to photograph one of those! I'm really impressed by all of the lilies you have, especially the red ones. It looks like hundreds! And, and, and..... well, everything!
Thanks, Sharon, for putting the display together for us to enjoy.

J, your gardens are beautiful, so full of color, and I'm sure the fragrance must be wonderful as you stroll through the gardens. You have created an amazing space for the birds, butterflies and the bees!!
I just KNEW when I saw your gardens featured that it would be a lovely and beautiful tour and I was surely not disappointed. DAZZLED fits Just gorgeous!
Just gorgeous! I'm amazed at all the plants. About how many containers do you have outside, and where do you overwinter everything that's not hardy there?
Chris, had to go to a map to count the containers - 57- 54 contain bulbs/tubers of which 19 are gloriosas. Tender bulbs are overwintered dry in basement. Lilies in containers are overwintered in garage.
Fantastic tour. I'm so impressed with your all season garden. The gloriosas are outstanding and I will have to give them a try in pots. You really have things planned and organized.
