Here's a puzzle, though, Robert. My Sri Lanka weevils have also all but disappeared, and I did nothing!

My landscape roses were a favorite, and they are all growing new leaves. The lychee in the front yard was pretty badly muched last year by this time, and it is looking good, too.

I'm wondering if the birds and lizards have finally found those lovely white weevils to be tasty.

This unknown colony is found daily on my mango tree. I have been scooping them away, they sometimes flutter and disappear, and then they return.

What are they? While the colony is visiting there seems to be a lot of black ladybugs that are hanging around as well.

Isn't that interesting, I'm happy to know what lady bug larvae look like. Wish I had some.

Years ago I had some on a plumie (pre computers) & I had no idea what they were so I was killing them. I felt so bad when I found out what they really were. Sad They certainly don't Look like they are something good. Pretty ugly actually. But since i have learned what they are I jump up & down with joy when I see their ugly little selves.

Jim, that's definitely an iguana. They vary in many ways regarding coloration, etc, and it all changes as they grow. Definitely call someone to capture it and get it out of the wild!!!!
