The pimpinelifolia (spinossisima? they keep changing it) was the first to open this year followed closely by Harison's

Harison's Yellow is a one time bloomer. I have a HUGE one that I'm thinking of getting rid of.

These two always do. The pink pimpinelifolia spreads itself out and acquires land - it is a hybrid of a Scotch briar rose. The whole thing was about a foot across when I moved it 16 years ago, now it's 6 feet across and I've taken several pieces out. the Harison's is more about height than conquest here.
