Let's talk about Heleniums. I currently only have 'Double Trouble' and 'Mardi Gras.' I just divided them to make more. 'Double Trouble' is so easy to propagate! What Heleniums do you recommend? I need more varieties to bloom when everything else is finished.
I also like to plant things fairly close helps crowd out the weeds and give me tons of bloom. I did try this plant at one time don't recall which variety but it just didn't appeal to me so I shovel pruned it.

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29
Sounds nice. I went to Maine last summer and it was amazing seeing the gardens up north. The weather was 80s in July. It made me wish I could afford a summer home !
I think Maine would be cooler with ocean breezes than here in July we get high temps and humidity no cooling breezes here the 80s would be great. Interesting how it varies in different states everyone always thinks that Minnesota should be cooler in the summer because we are so far north it is 86 here now. Last week we set a new record of 92 for a day that had not been that hot in 101 years we were warmer on that day then TX and FL. So what is TN like during the summer months?

I ordered 'Tiny Dancer'. I didn't get a good deal; however, I am very good at propagating Helenium cuttings and could share some maybe by fall or spring.

Cool, they look like yellow coneflowers. and the 'Moerheim Beauty' looks like red ones!
