There's a fool borne every minute.
I figured dyed from the beginning. The untrained will be asking questions on the web about "Why did my blue orchid turn white after a year/" Ha Ha Ha Ha

Must have been a eye popping moment to see masses of them on display.
The big clue was the orchid society not wanting to show them or comment on them much. That says a lot They wont endorse them.

If there was a new introduction seems like the Orchid Society would be the first to show them, not Kroger!

Seems like they are just looking for some stupid people to sell them to.

I think it's funny that they patented the process of turning them blue. People have been doing this for ages. That would be considered prior art. They should be ashamed. What morons!

Here is the first 2014 blue poppy.
It was labelled as Meconopsis betoncifolia, but
I am wondering? as it has flower buds all along the stem?
It must be another cultivar?

Hope you can get some seed. I had one that bloomed couple of years ago and it gave me a ton of seed.

Yes , I collect the seeds.
I have not had success yet,--- getting from seeds to flowers.
I keep on trying!
Last year I had seedlings to put out, but they were damaged by the heavy rains.
This plant is smack against the north side of the house.
I have others that are a few feet out, but not showing any buds.
