Is this plant hardy in your zone?

It is said to be hardy in zones 8b-11, but they do grow here as perennials in sheltered locations. They can tolerate to 15 degrees.

one more reason to have zone envy

It is a very nice looking plant and would look even nicer in my garden
Maybe I will move south someday and start a garden with all those plants that don't grow here

Nor would you enjoy the nasty Pine voles native to the state. They are voracious underground root feeders that can decimate a landscape, taking down trees as they devour their roots.
