Perhaps. It looks like daytime temps are 74 minimum and nights are 44-57.

I almost pay more for the shipping and heat packs than the plants lately! (3 different sellers) but that's addiction. Not much logic involved!

I ran into a NOID catt today at the Agway in Brattleboro, VT. It was begging me to save it from neglect. It has 6 buds so it's trying to survive. I tried to get it discounted to no avail but in the end it came home with me. Wonder what it could be....

I just bought Neofinetia falcata Shutenno x Shojo (5 growths) and 2 Darwinara Charms. The Darwinaras will be either red (Benhime), white and lavender (Fujihime), solid purple (Murasakihime) or yellow (Yuhime). I'm praying that one is yellow!!

I usually don't buy much online in winter but I am this winter! It's pretty amazing but many orchids handle being shipped in the teens F without heat packs. So far I haven't lost a thing! Still makes me nervous though. I usually buy at open houses and shows in winter.

I went to Silva Orchids today, they had their annual Winter Open House. James Rose of Cal-Orchids was also present with a very nice selection of things.
My boots were very shiny and I had FUN. Big Grin
Here is my loot

From Silva
Paph Dollgoldi Division
C. Nancy Off '1010' in bud ( this is a huge white Cattleya with a yellow throat, the scent is wonderful. )
C. Janice Evans 'Sweet Sixteen'
Pot Final Touch 'Mendenhall'
Holc wangii
small Paraphalaenopsis serpentilingua hopefully it will bloom in my life time….

From James Rose
Lyonara MemDoug Lace 'Roseminah' 2 spikes
C loddigesii 'Shorty' x C walkeriana 'The Chairman AM'AOS looks like a loddigesii on steroids ( I suppose this is a version of C x Dolosa)
L purpurata [striata x ( 'Caixinha do Seara' x 'Dante Vagnotti')] Looks very similar to the one I had lost in that wet 2009 Summer
C intermedia 'Sendai' BM'/JOGA
Neostylis Pinkie 'Starry Night' 2x very cute!
Lycaste Abou First Spring, it is a really nice, large pink. I hope I can bloom it.
Podochilus muricatus James asked me how my plant was doing. I told him I had lost it last year and he gave me a new one for free. Smiling Is he a nice guy or what! This time I will mount it.

All I know is that the flowers will have some pink or wine coloring. What does Shojo look like? Do you have it?
