A Hand-y Tip

If you garden barehanded as I often do, keep a bar of soap and nail brush next to the sink (or outside near a garden hose) for quick clean up.

When I get poison ivy it hangs around for months, so soaping up frequently is a lifesaver!

Mine is just a bottle of dish washing liquid kept by the house hose. Smiling

I keep mine on the washtub in the basement. I tried putting a bar of soap outside by the hose, but some woodland critter ran off with it--or ate it! Blinking

Great idea, and remember to get a tetanus shot too!

Yes, Michelle, glad you mentioned that! I recently read that the bacteria the shot protects against is soil-borne, and I never knew that. I make sure my tetanus is up-to-date.

I keep a bar soap in an old pantyhose or kneel high. I tie it right to the outside water faucet.
