Terri,
I see that you have made a plant list, is that just for you to know what you have, and where it is planted and where you got it from? It's not for trading/swaping purposes is it? I put my digital camer chip into my Easy Share digital viewer and realized I could tell where certain plants are located if the marker is missing.

I'm using it as an easy way to document what plants I have where - user interface is great, just go to the plant database and click on add to my plant list - links the database picture and info all at the same time.

I started one for myself and I've tried entering my Asiatic Hybrid Lily "Red Dwarf" in and it refuses it. I tried for hours to do that one..This is a good way of keeping track of what you have. I just thought of something. I should add in the comments the expected height the plant reaches. I'm bad for not paying attention to that factor when I start :"plunking" the seedlings out. Some plants it doesn't make that much of a difference, but then some are so obvious..Example: "Alaska" shasta daisies should be at back of border. Mine are right in the front..duh! Lauren's grape poppy needs to go to the back of the border also. My one lupine is been smothered by Geum "Mrs. Bradshaw" and oriental poppies..
I took a chance and dug up my "Becky" shastas one day this week and quickly transplanted rose campion in its place back of the border.. Rose campion is in bloom but so far so good. I've been watering every day and I have mulch around it and I gave it Miracle Gro transplant solution. I started a new bed with my new plant swap plants..I think I have everything in the garage flowerbed listed except that plant I couldn't get to take. I just remembered my Silene Armeria and don't know if I added Geum "Mrs. Bradshaw" then I'll start listing the other flowerbed. I won't have names of specific bulbs, most of them have been there at least 5 yrs.

Thanks for your advice. I was up to church doing our volunteer task from 10:15 to about 3 pm. Usually we spread it out to 2 days. I was working by myself on one entire project this morning and had almost half of the second project completely when Lloyd showed up, after his Drs. appt. A/C at church having some problems and I took all the mailing I did to Olney post office and theirs was on the blink too, had all their lights inside turned off to keep it cool. Our A/C man told the church with this hot spell, they are working 15-18 hrs. a day.. Loving that overtime I bet! He will be at the church tomorrow. We only have to do these two volunteer jobs once a month but we usually break it into 2 days. I want to get it over with, as the end of the month is fast approaching.
