Returned late Sunday evening from a four day trip to Hattiseburg Mississippi, saw lots of daylilies even tho the gardens were way past peak. There were four gardens on tour and the Watts garden was outstanding with thousands of daylilies grown to perfection as always. They won every award except two.
This bed is about 300' long and 12' wide, the first thing you see when you exit the bus, this leads to the many other raised beds located around the home.
A few of the many beds.
All the beds are raised, and all the daylilies were in huge clumps.
This is EMMA'S CURLS which won best UF at the meeting.
A huge clump of LILLIAN'S JACK TEMPLE in the center of one of the beds.
Long bed nearest to the lake
Bed overlooking the lake.
Will add some photos from the other gardens later.
