Both are precious! It's amazing that the flowers on the Sigma can stand up like that! Cute little aliens walking along the leaves.

Aren't they adorable? Most Sigmatostalix have a bit of a sense of humor when viewed through a magnifying lens, I think.

I sent some pics to Andy to ID my putative Pleurothallis sp. http://cubits.org/orchids/thre...
At the orchid society meeting they thought it might be a Dendrochilum! No wonder I couldn't ID it! Here are some pics I sent him.

I think they may be working on the site. It's not showing any upcoming events either. I've been checking it daily, as they are listed as a vendor at the Spring Garden Show the end of this month, but he isn't showing it on his site. Confused

My new Sigmatostalix picturissima is here!!!! Love this cutie. It has lots more buds but I had to repot it from 100% sphagnum so we'll see.....
Good timing too since it will be 20 degrees tonight and I'm glad it's not in USPS's cold building somewhere.

Oh those are so cute Kathy... love the look of Oberonia... enjoy them, are you on a shopping spree?

I just got 4 delivered as well... I got Papilionanthe pedunculata. Cym erythrostylum, Hwra. Lava Burst 'Puanani' AM/AOS, mounted, to replace the potted one I killed years ago, and the suppose to be Wils. Aloha Sparks 'Edna's Flame' AM/AOS, but they sent me a wrong plant, so I'm a bit disappointed right now:(

Now anxiously waiting for Leptotes bicolor, don't know why I never have one of this... and until the next order:)

I am always on a shopping spree!!! But you have me beat this week! BTW, I want your first two (although I have yet to bloom a terete) and I have Lava Burst and Leptotes bicolor.

I have yet to bloom my Papilionanthe teres, but I kept saying to myself it's not mature yet... lol... but I grow them for sentimental reasons Kathy... I collect as many as I can, all the species from my native country... plus if I grow them now, they will be mature when, perhaps one day I will move to a warmer place and at that point, they will be ready to bloom!!! See, all figured out:)

That's also why people make hybrids and intergenerics for you to grow, so you won't get too impatient waiting for your species to bloom...
