I found this unusual plant growing in the dunes on the west end of Galveston Island.

Think it's genus is Orobanche, but couldn't determine species. It's parasitic.

Yep, sometimes that's all I need is a push in the right direction. Good to see another Texas Gulf Coast person here that might be more familiar with the plants I photograph.
