There is a seller on Ebay with supposedly blue plumeria...they also list purple and black.
my first thought was "photo shop".
What do you all think?

I kind of figured it was too good to be true.
They are from Thailand...but the seller only has 44 feedback.

I have ordered a variegated cutting from Thailand and it arrived and is putting out nice variegated leaves.(different seller)

that is a VERY nice one just remember about feedback it can take up to 20 days to get the cutting/plant and depends 1-3 yrs to bloom so poz feedback 44 over how long of a time and i know a few yrs ago there was a scam that ebayers had friends buying pennies items and leaving poz feed back to boots there rating look for poz feed back over a several months or years!!

BUT do love that plumeria i wish mine had that great variation or the ones im getting next month has like that. mine are not quite that great but some have pink and green like that also

Carol, glad you enjoyed Merida. It is a beautiful old colonial city, I love living here. Anyone else that visits, please send me a note and perhaps we can have coffee or a drink while you are here.

Carol: Love the variegated foliage of your Plumeria ... very nice!

Mike: Oooh, you mean there's a variegated Plumie that has pink in the foliage?? I'd love to see a photo of that one, I bet it's gorgeous!!

I wonder if someone is doing with Plumeria what they are doing with that Blue Phalaenopsis Orchid ... injecting them with something so that the first blooms will be blue but subsequent blooms will be the normal color? When I moved my realtor gave me one of the Blue Phal's. My friends thought it was so gorgeous and they were shocked when I told them the blue blooms would not last. One friend was quite surprised when she saw the next blooms that were the regular white color.

First I think the blue plumeria are photo shopped. At least when you buy the orchid 99% of them tell you that the blue plumeria stated most the time it has blue blooms.

yes there are a variegated named pink maya click pics to see better

Wow, Pink Maya is gorgeous! I actually like the accurate photo better than the photo shopped one! Your sprouts look awesome Mike ... very pretty coloration. It sorta reminds me of a Caladium at that stage.

these plants sell on internet from good suppliers from $35.00-$65.00 and they are kinda rare in the next few years you will notice more on the market

I'd grow that one just for the beautiful foliage ... but fragrant blooms makes it even more enticing!

This is my variegated Thai plumeria that I go from Mike's co-op. It's hiding under its rather tall plummie cousins, staying out of the 100° days here.

Everything I ordered from your co-op looks good and healthy. I have no idea where I planted the lily of the valley bulbs, I'm sure they'll turn up in spring next year!
