And the new Sherry Baby we bought the week before at the Orchid Show, "Sharry Baby, East Sea #2"
A double yum on this chocolate scent.

WOW! Nice stuff at this show and great pics.
For your information, posts #112225, 112259, and 112289 are very pretty phalaenopsis (moth) orchids, not vandas (although the flower shape is similar)!
Thanks so much for posting!! Was it a long ride from you home?

Thanks for the corrections, I'm just a beginner at orchids but had to find somewhere to test my new camera. These photos were taken at the AOS grounds http://www.aos.org/AM/Template... which is in the same area of The Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens http://www.morikami.org/index.... and I'd definitely recommend a day to see both. I had taken my mom to Morikami a few months ago. I had tested another camera a the Orchid Show a week prior with terrible results.

I have to work down in FL for sis and the place is 20 minutes from her home. With the cold weather down there lately it was pretty bleek for Florida. Glad to be back for a short spell to see spring in Georgia start!

Gee, isn't there a better way to add links here??

Love the Morikami gardens. Well we could go to http://bit.ly/ and they would shorten the urls.

K, so you visited Morikami and didn't go to the AOS? Was it closed then? They recently reopened I know.
