Pesto Takes a New Direction

Do you realize that there are many ways to make pesto besides using the traditional basil as the main ingredient? Almost any leafy green can be substituted for basil to make this culinary treat.

These look great! There doesn't even seem to be that many calories (Sorry to bring that up...I am on WW) Atleast for the spinach pesto...I guess I will calculate before eating too much.

Another one is Arugula Pesto....made with Pine Nuts and lots of garlic......!!! Parmesan Cheese! Great way to use up that Arugula that suddenly has gone wild and you can't possibly eat it all in salads!!!!!
