My wife, Sue, finished going through her photos of the POE 2011. I'm not sure when I will get mine done, so here's a link to her photos (probably better than most of mine anyway)...

As you can see by the first couple shots of the pier (Fort Mason Center), it was one of those terrible sunny 70ยบ winter days that you folks in the midwest and east hate so much. We had time to go down to Crissy Field and watch the kite surfers and people throwing balls into the bay for their dogs to chase, then we walked over to the Palace of Fine Arts, a definite Must See if you're visiting SF. On the way to the show we stopped in at "Greens", a vegetarian restaurant (only restaurant at Fort Mason open in the evening). The food was good, but they had a better selection at the "to-Go" counter, next time... Anyway, here's a taste of the show:

Neal, I will put this in the show forum. Absolutely wonderful show. Just told my partner that I'm moving to SF or Petaluma. We'll just sell both our houses and go. Would I need a greenhouse? How cold does it get? Of course I'd hate not seeing my grandsons and in summer there's those 3 acres of fabulous gardens here....but the rest of my family will be there. Maybe someday.

I adore that Lembo. rossi and the Den. papilio!! Great cyms. Don't they unify a display! Love the Asian theme. That spotty Masd. near the end of the slideshow is my decumana that's in bloom here now.

I don't know, packing an 18 wheeler MUST be harder than carrying them to a shelf. Hilarious!
