Kauka Wilder should have more of a flame in the center; but our weird weather may have thrown it off.
Paul Weissich is not normally that small; I am guessing the plant is not fully rooted? Or has been in too much shade? something? Here is my picture.

i like the look BUT can never grow anything in the ground fro a while till i get my forest under control. i hit some invasive plants and trees with some kill all type chemicals and thinking about whiping the whole yard and starting over i dont have realy anything i would call grass mabe 2-3 sq feet here and there them this grass that if you let it grow its 5 feet tall and you can never get rid of it i have spent many summers digging and pulling it out then i started spraying it and here i am 10 yrs later and it is 3x as bad as when i moved in. The dog loves it but grrrrr snakes and spiders also love it!!!

here are a few blooms i have now

That always seems to happen to me. Mimi tells me that I have a direct line to Chac (the Mayan god of rain) because as soon as I water everything and fill the ponds, it rains. Rolling on the floor laughing

You know, it takes about 20 minutes to gather the blooms, and maybe another 20 minutes to make the lei. Less time than driving to the store to buy a bouquet..... and much nicer.
The friend was touched... Smiling

Yes it is. Red doesn't photograph very well for me. The pink looks a little different too. First blooms were a nice pink. This go around of blooms are little darker. The Aztec Gold smells so nice!

Thanks. I'll try that. 99% of all my pics i rarely use flash. I think they look better that way. I bet taking it at dusk as you suggest would work really well. I guess I'll have to take another picture!

All of my plumeria (Flor de Mayo in Spanish) are NOID. This is one that has a wonderful cinnamon scent.

Thumb of 2012-07-24/extranjera/8fef6f

My white and yellow has the sweet, tropical scent from a lei. This is the line up of my plumeria plants on the roof during a break from some heavy rain we've had the last couple days.
