The first orchid I ever grew was from Dr. Roger West from Conway Orchids. It died of course! Roger eventually retired from his practice and even stopped selling orchids except to my local florist and to a handful of folks that were willing to come over to his house. I am luckily one of those people. He decided to only grow catts, mostly floofies. So today when I was in town at the florist's, I decided to call Roger up and go take pics. Turned out he had a lot in bloom! Here is a sampling:
Guess who!
I bought:
Blc. Shining Harmony 'Volcano Queen' which has a distorted first bloom.
Slc. Final Touch 'Mendenhall'
Eplc. Butterfly Kisses 'Mendenhall'
And Slc. India Rose Sherwood 'Kiilani'
What a beautiful thread!! He sure has gorgeous Orchids!
I was fortunate to buy from him a few years ago and his plants all did well for me.
Nice purchases too, Kathy.
Very nice, Kathy. Do you know the name of the one located on the far left of the last row in the second group? It is all white with purple floof. I just love it.

Well, I'm now the proud owner of a Lc. White Spark 'Panda'. No one else bid on it and I got it for the initial asking price of $12 and something. Not bad?!!
