Hi everyone. I have a new iris that's blooming. It's one of the last remaining ones I got from freecycle. I was wondering if anyone has a possible ID for it? Thanks.

Not sure what it may be. It looks fantastic, though!

Thanks Monty! I really like the colors on it. I had quite a few but they've slowly disappeared over the years.

I quite love it, actually. Yellowish/red bicolours just happen to be my favourite combo. Well, any mix of yellow and red patterns on an iris, not specifically bicolour.

I know your's is more of a tannish yellow, with a bordeauxish red.
Barcelona looks quite close.

Jungle Princess as well.

Nope...not Red Revival either, even though I absolutely adore this iris for its looks. Don't have it though.

I wish you good luck with your noid. I really do love it. Lovey dubby

Did you make a cross on it? or was it a bee pod?

It was a bee pod. This is the first time I've seen a seed pod. I think I had Clarence, a noid yellow, and another Role Model in bloom. Are they easy to start from seed?

Hi, Cameron! Hurray!

Many of my Irises did not bloom this year, either. May be from our weird weather the last six months? Shrug!

I need to let you know next year when I have peak bloom so you can come visit. Smiling (I meant to this year, and forgot. Sorry. *Blush* )

Debra we definitely had some weird weather this year. Last year all of my irises bloomed.

I'd love to stop by and look at all of your beautiful irises next year. Hurray!
