So I finally ran out of black nursery pots and I have some more cuttings, plants, and seeds to start.

Other than Ebay where has everyone been getting 1g and 3g+ nursery pots? I really want to get a bulk quantity to keep up with my gardening success this year.

We get them at nurseries. There has always been one or two nurseries in every area that we've lived in that is happy to get rid of some of their pots for free. Most don't re-use the pots after the plant has died for fear of contamination.

Call around and good luck! Smiling

If you have 99 Cent Only Stores, they sell stacks of 8-10 seed pots for, well, 99 cents, of course! They would be more plentiful during the Spring.

Have you tried using Origami and newspaper to fold seedling/plant start pots? It really is very easy. Plus after opening up the bottom of the pot, you can set the entire thing right into the ground without disturbing the roots! I found instructions on YouTube but my Garden Idea on this topic should be posted eventually.

I got mine here from 'Growerssolution', 50 for 12.99. I was very happy, the pots were like new and clean.

The shipping and postage was reasonable too. They also have the gadget that makes pots out of newspaper. I can't remember the name of it, so I googled it and only found this: Shrug!

Has anyone gotten good results from cloth pots?
