Discovered these on the clump while digging an After Eight this morning--relative to Susans(stilldew, aka lincolnites) June 5th thread. These can only be Stargazer X Starfighter open pollenation seedlings since they were the only plants in this garden--except for A-E, which didn't flower.. Stargazer was the pod parent. I remember letting the pods form after someone else had questioned/commented on Stargazer pollenation. But then, late last Fall I got so busy with seedling transplanting, that these were just 'let go' until clean up.
There were four altogether--two still had the seed hull attached (one discovered after photo) and almost went unnoticed until I put the clump on the bench. These were replanted in a seedling pot. I checked the area and there are several more in there, but I've probably hoed up or pulled up most already right along with the weeds.
