If a door closes look for a window!
I have a friend with wild crab apple tree's in her yard, she offered me as many as i want.
When do I dig them up and transplant them into my yard. How big do they need to be?
Any advice on this subject is greatly appreciated!!!!
Thank you so much

Malus can be taken as seed, seedling or sapling. If'n it was my crab apple I'd want to take it for transplant while it was dormant, In Ohio thats be november to March.
My likes crab apple bonsai.

Take some fruit and germinate them yourself up on a porch rail or bench and away from the mower...
