A trip to the Redlands, in South Florida, results in an impromptu visit to "Ruben's In Orchids". After a failed attempt to grow from the flask to adult, I had to stop by. Arriving, I found the sprinklers cranked, it was about 1 P.M., where I met Claudia and Ruben. Two very very approachable and the nicest people you'll ever have the pleasure of knowing. I had a million questions, so I asked for a tour.

Now I'm ready to get my buying shoes on. These folks got the handle on Enc.'s and Onc.'s...
With these next foto's, you're gonna have to do an orchid "Eye Spy".. too many to list.

I agree with Ken. I'd love to take that tour.

Ah, here it is in its own glory. I buy from Rubin on ebay quite often. I love his Florida and Caribbean orchids best. It's great to see Claudia and the whole operation!

Holy smokes, what FUN. A kid in a candy-shop! Looks like a great place to visit.
Is the long spiker a Schomburgkia? And the 'Hildos' would be a beauty!

Ah, 'Hildos' is mounted like that. Great, it won't have to be re-potted.
