Conium maculatum has smooth, hollow stems with purplish-red splotches on it. These have hairy stems. The leaves also don't look consistent with conium maculatum, which are much more finely cut and look similar to carrot leaves.

This does have the purplish-red splotches, but it does have a hairy stem. Will check on it today.

Now wondering if there is a way to remove this "comment thread" from the picture. It is now listed under the correct plant, so I hate to still see a thread listing it as possibly misidentified. To clarify, it was originally posted under a different plant, and has been moved to the correct one. Smiling
