have to tell you.. I used some moisture control MG.. in a couple of containers.. only because my neighbor gave it to me.. I have to say I like the coir, perlite, and slow release with water gels better.. the MG seems so heavy compared.. the water drains better and stays moist just the same.. I know I hit a nerve with a lot of people over the coir.. but I can say I love it.. some of MG pots overflowed mix out of the top with those heavy rains we had.. the downpours go right through the coir.. doesn't pool in there at all but still retains enough

How in the world did you put such tidy holes in the sides of your pots? I poked holes in the sides of a bunch of mine this year, but they are nowhere near as big or neat around the edges.
