Here is the combo.It will get a different annual next year.Something brighter.Nemesias are pooped out and angelenias are thin and floppy.
This is the time of year when I critique myself anyway.
if I find any seeds for the purple herb that reseeds all over here JoAnn.. I will be sure to save some for you.. they would make a nice fill for pooped out spots.. I had one reseed in a container from last year.. I dumped the pot to replant it .. and I set the old root ball on the ground in the grass by the greenhouse... it's even happy living up on the ground
here is that purple herb.. if you let it go to seed it will pop up all over.. but you know me.. I don't mind that.. 1st one is the one I popped out of the container and is growing on top of the ground... the 2nd one is growing on the driveway.. and I have a bunch down there.. almost no dirt.. they are easy to pull if they grow where you don't want them
pretty neat right?... smells nice too.. I could be wrong but I believe it's a Chinese herb .. maybe a basil or perilla .. it came from Holly & Ric out in PA .. was growing on top of a huge canna she gave me.. so I just left them.. they popped up all over this year .. were easy to spot in spring with that purple leaf... so hardy though.. it was growing on the container I never dug up that had the canna in it.. I had a board covering 1/2 of it.. and had a Christmas Snoopy on top of it... it grew under and out the sides .. even covered up.. once I took the board off.. they all took off .. has a long skinny flower like perilla .. but I am not sure ... but I am guessing in the right environment.. and left to go to seed... this one could be really annoying.. I remember one I dug out and put in the garden by the driveway last year... had tons of seeds in that flower I guess.. I am guessing that's how they all seeded on the driveway
