Melissa my son just asked me last night, "How come we can't use the grill on the back patio" I told him, he just said good grief get rid of all those things. a typical mans reaction to too many plants.but I am thinking I may have to agree,

LOL Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Hey Melissa, I'm an inocent man, been framed by someone who sound like me, Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing God Bless You Melissa.

Got to give you my greatest thanks for the adeniums you sent me, to bad the buds didn't make it but thats no problem as I know they will bloom again fast, just can't wait to see how they look like.

Hey Doris, how big is your back patio, I thought you didn't have that many plants or do you have as many as Melissa has on her front deck, I don't think no one can beat Melissa's collection at this moment, she has so many she could do her own adenium festival by herself Rolling on the floor laughing I just love you Melissa, your so wonderful :hearts:

It would be nice to make a contest just to show our best adeniums and have the winner post his adeium as flower of the month, what do you al think. it might get more people interrested in these plants and join us in the adenium forums.

may God Bless You All

I think that's a great idea EXCEPT for those of us who are being deluged with rain right about now. So few of my plants are flowering like they should because of all the rain. I went to the swap shop this morning (huge flea market) and the were selling common pink adenium for $30.00 Confused that's more then they get for them in a garden shop, and considering how small they were just not worth it, the guy also had rooted cuttings for sale at $10.00 each so maybe Mike is on to some thing.

Wilfred no way do I have as many as Malissa, I have about 60 plants of all sizes, and I think befor winter I may give some away.
My Black Asia is not doing anything, it is healthy but not growing much, twl of my larger plants continues to bloom but the rest are either too hot or too lazy, and we have not had any rain in weeks, we are so far below our norm so I have to water every other day.

what is in your orchid soil?

most the time it seems to me to be to big pieces i have put on bottom of pot and other mix on top. i am in process of making videos available (Charleen you have seen ) i would try to crush it up some. if you have a old pillow case put it in and take a hammer to it. i think you will be fine if you can get it down to dime size and smaller ....my opinion

i started a thread for potting medium info we have been seeing on the FB thread you and i are members of

look here The thread "great info on potting medium" in Adeniums forum

video link to come there in a few min one for soil then i start grafting thread with great video on that!

go have a look
