I ordered this one a few years back but now I don't think the blooms match the ones I see on the NET... Tropic7 Pics are from our flickr so be careful if you pull one of those up for Maria Pia.. The Star in the middle is definate.. this photo is from last years, the blooms now in this heat are darker red,
has a very light scent... kind of fruit, bland

Has dark deep burgundy inflos

I don't think so - I don't remember that star. Reminds me of something but my brain is too tired. I'll sleep on it Smiling

Definitely not it. The bloom shape is wrong. I have Calcutta Star blooming right now. Much narrower petals.
Everyone should be aware of identifying a plumeria from a single picture.... it takes comparing many more characteristics such as growth pattern of the tree, shape of the inflo, shape and color of the leaves, climate conditions etc. Some are an immediate match, others take a lot more investigating....

Hetty is so right i have 3 different plants all from the same mother tree (hers) and the blooms are a bit different and looking they are getting different amount of sun, heat and water. the other thing is there is a difference in plant age. very surprising i know this is a bit off topic but i am posting 3 pis all the same flower taken in different light and flash and day
