We've done something like this before but I thought it might be fun to do again. Which Hosta looks extra nice this week and then next week we can choose something else. Mine is Liberty which I show often. I have 3 plants and it is so "camera friendly"

Paul,

I think everything in your gardens looks good any week! Love Liberty... unfortunately, a rabbit liked it even more this spring! Ate it down to the ground.

Susan,

Your Blue Ivory has some really nice, wide borders on it! Very pretty.

Rose, thank you for the kind comment. My garden brings me a lot of pleasure. We've had two domestic rabbits loose in the neighborhood the last few months. Now just one as something must have happened to the second. They haven't done any harm yet. We see a few deer all year and I live in fear of them when the Hosta are emerging in the spring but no problem so far. They do eat the new buds on my roses some years.

Thank you Rose for the compliment, I am still looking for just the right spot for Blue Ivory, seems to be a little fussy, in this photo it is recovering from too much sun.
My Paul's Glory got chewed up first thing this season by a rabbit and I put down the Millorganite, this keeps them away because they do not like the smell. I just got to remember to reapply every three rains or so, it is also a low dose, slow release, organic fertilizer and the Hostas do like it. Green Grin!

I love Blue Ivory also but my plant is the same size as it was 2 or 3 years ago. I need to try it in another spot. El Nino which is very similar seems to be slow also. A friend moved his El Nino hoping to encourage it.

Good advise, I have noticed that El Nino has grown fast for me and it does get a couple hours of sun, it seems to like it. Thumb of 2012-06-17/virginiarose/298a01

My El Nino seems to be going in reverse! I moved it this year, but it's getting smaller. My Blue Ivory is still just one eye, but seems to be happy where it's at, so I'll leave it there!

This is the nicest time of the year for 'Elegans' here. It still has a trace of blue and with the light and dark green it looks iridescent in the right light.

Just can't capture it in a photo.
