Hetty i got these cuttings from you Riv Rainbow gang potted doing great till 2 days ago look at the center cut leaves any idea? i know it has grown threw the pot in the ground LOL but did not move it so not to break those roots off only things around are those grasshoppers




any ideas?

Well whatever that red one is I am sure I want it back LOL. VERY beautiful. I'm leaning towards Malaysian Red but need to see it when it has developed a bit further.

And not sure what has gotten into those center cuttings... something is obviously not right with them. Keep me posted.

yea i think im missing a few Malaysian red i was bummed at first due to it was with my thai rainbow and it opened i said thats no rainbow..lol but wow i like
so i checked it was a cutting i rooted no graft so no rainbow. ill keep an eye on the center cut it left me with my jaw wide open due it sprouted before some tipped cuttings did and has been looking great I am confident ?? it will pull threw!!!

No. 1 sure looks like it could be Riviera RB - does it have a spicy scent? It's quite distinctive.
The Mexican white is lovely.
95% certain on the Celadine.

I should recognize the bottom one since the center with the two points in the yellow is distinctive but my brain is not yet working . . .

I was 99% about Riviera RB and yes spicy cent the flower is also very sturdy. I am so happy with this i have quite a few of them but in awe with it i have to say one of the best i have so far!!!!

I also think the other is Celadine it came from you last year i had in small pot and it rooted but like no growth when i re-potted it took off and it was a fat cutting and i think we talked about it and you said it normally is a easy rooter and it was just i think starved for water so didn't put leaves out. But i know you Don't sell me noids.

i think Denise told me but i think we both where confused and i was looking for red flowers .... imagine my surprise when it bloomed
like it just confused but that is fully expected for me at this time for sure lol

The top photo is the Riviera Rainbow. The 2nd is of an unknown Plumeria, five petals, 1 1/2" ovate, white with a small yellow center, and slight tinge of pink along the edges. The 3rd is the backside of the unknown variety. There is a distinct dark reddish-pink stripe down the entire (one) side of each petal leading to the stem. What do I have? The last pic is my Celadine. Notice it has six petals, though no one can tell me why there are six rather than five. Thanks for the info.

Any plumeria can have six petals from time to time.

There is a plant identification forum, but frankly, the flower is not distinctive enough in my opinion, so it would be hard to get a firm id on it.

Generally one only sees the top of the petal in pictures, not the rear of it. Do many Plumeria have this candy-pink stripe along the single outer edge of the rear of each petal? Again, thanks for your reply.

P. S. Would better pics help? I took these in noon sun and the brightness tended to wash the subtle colors and pretty much everything else.

Yes, there are many plumeria with the stripe along the back of the petals. Here is a good example. And absolutely, yes, take some pictures around dusk and that will give a better idea of the color.

In My experience if Hetty cant ID it then anyone else most likely is guessing she knows what 90% look like and i always find it help full to take front .back. full open and closed bloom with inflo colors AND a good pic of leaves font and back giving your hand or ruler to show size

the tip of photo at dusk or very late day is a great one you get more true colors then and if you can turn you flash off try that the flash washes out a great deal of color.
