Garden Tour - Dutchlady1

By Dutchlady1
June 17, 2012

I don't have a Garden; I have a third of an acre in an older part of Naples, Florida, which holds a house, a pool, and hundreds of plants, mostly Plumeria. After they first were stashed haphazardly here and there, wherever there was a space, I am slowly pulling it all together into a more coherent whole. As every gardener knows - this is a work in progress!

Your gardens are lovely Hetty and it's a treat to see all the tropical plants that don't grown in my zone.

You've created a lovely haven and thank you for sharing it with us.

Beautiful. What a wonderful garden you have. I gardening in my FIL's yard in Fl. when we visit. Usually I am doing a lot of clean up but it is still a pleasure to work in a different type of garden. Of course I just love Tropical plants.

Hetty, thank you for giving us this tour! Your garden is so exotic, so different from what I see every day. What a wonderful place to put down permanent roots! Lovey dubby

Hetty, I'm so happy to finally be able to see your lovely garden. I can certainly relate to those "snowbird" leftovers! Hilarious!
Thank you for the tour & I too adore the pergola vine. Lovey dubby

The Tecomanthe is a bit tricky in that it blooms on old wood (and the flowers form directly on the stem). It took it a bit to get established but now it's going strong and spreading across the pergola nicely Smiling
