Vodka can remove poison oak.

busted

For some reason, although most of the MythBusters were allergic to poison oak when they were young (especially Kari, who was exempted from the test because she had once had a dangerous reaction), it didn’t affect anyone but John the Researcher. The vodka still gave no results.

Not to believe or doubt without actually trying it myself.
But the original poster said EVERCLEAR 180 PROOF.

Mythbusters said vodka.
Are they the same thing?

Most Vodka is 80 proof. Only 40% alcohol. Try Everclear instead. It's 90% or higher.

No Vodka is not the same as Everclear. Vodka is mostly 80 proof or 40% alcohol, Everclear is 180 proof or 90%. Sorry but I've been using it for over 5 years and yes it works on others in my family too. You have to use the right thing.
