You will love every stage of the awesome semp. And it also seems to be a very tough semp. Not huge on production, but more than adequate. It also has watermarkings year round.
It was named after one of the characters in 'Lord of the Rings'. There is a series of sempervivum named after other characters in the book/movie.

That's right - I did read that about the 'Lord of the Rings' series - I had just forgotten.
