1. The "help/faq" forum needs to be at the top of the forum list. I know the category it's in is at the bottom, but I truly think it deserves to be outside of any category, and at the top so that anyone looking at our forum list sees the help right away. Yes, we include a link to it in the "welcome new member" treemail, but new members aren't the only people who use it.

Which leads me to point #2...

2. Went looking today for the post on bb codes, because I don't have it starred and couldn't remember the strikeout code. That should be a sticky in the help/faq forum, in my opinion.

Since both these items are only my opinion, I give Dave/Trish free reign to over-rule me Rolling on the floor laughing but I truly think it would add to the ease of use factor that is such a big part of this site.

Thanks for listening I'm all ears!

I put the link to the Welcome and Help forum at the top of the forums.

As for the bb code, that's already there. It's the second question answered in the first sticky thread. Thumbs up

Thanks!

I was looking for a TOPIC called "bb codes," not looking to have to go into a thread with some other title to find it. That's why I didn't see it. I wound up doing a search for "bb codes" and found it that way. I truly think the BB Codes deserves its own separate thread, but again, I'll defer to your greater wisdom (you being the owner, and all that). Green Grin!

Honestly? It would never have occurred to me to that BB Codes are a "site feature" -- so I'd never have found that answer.

If you want to start a new thread all about bb codes, I'd be glad to make it a sticky. Thumbs up
