Glossary Tip - Raceme

Raceme: A cluster of flowers (inflorescence) in which the flowers are borne on short stems of about the same length and at equal distances along a longer primary stem, and open successively toward the top of the stem. Lily of the Valley is a simple example.

Yup. And Trish said it doesn't matter if more than one person posts a definition; that they can be combined later when Dave organizes a glossary feature. I personally think that having more than one person's explanation of these gardening terms could make it easier for people to understand them, too.

No, Lynn. You must have missed the thread where the new way of submitting tips was discussed. You click on the "Gardening Ideas" tab and up in the top right of that screen, click where it says "Access the Ideas Posting area." It should be obvious from there. Smiling
