They say if it goes over the mountains in Cuba that it may break it up or disorganize it. We'll see. I was going to run down to Port Charlotte on Saturday but I'm not going anywhere near the Skyway if the wind is up.
the 2 pm update. My feeling is that after Friday/Saturday we will know a lot more. The interaction with Hispaniola and Cuba can do a lot to this storm... and we won't know what....until it's happened.
Spaghetti tracks this time. Everyone seems to agree that Isaac will stay offshore until it gets to the panhandle. It'll just be lousy weather along the whole west coast.
I'm still not getting excited OR relaxed until it passes Cuba.
The latest advisory makes me less happy. They are now predicting Isaac to spend less time over Cuba, so it will be making a beeline for Florida. Mind you - it's still only a Tropical Storm when it passes us... but it'll be a few miserable days weather-wise I am sure.
And Florida dodges another one. Good for us, bad for others. Still a few months to go yet & September is usually a bear.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
