We have bindweed up here too.
The roots go all over---so I am spraying herbicide on it.
Just when I think it is gone---a new shoot appears!

Thanks for the info! I didn't know that fall was the best time for herbicides. I have been pulling it, but it keeps coming back. I use a little paintbrush to apply an Ortho product so I don't kill everything around it.

I saw this growing in my back yard earlier this year and thought it was a bean plant, so I gave it a trellis! lol
Now it has climbed all the way to the top and is flowering like crazy. They sure do look like morning glories but now I know better!
I've noticed other stems popping up all over my yard. Most of them grow a couple inches every day. They are fast.

This is such a horrible weed here in CO. It tries to strangle my roses.. and that's what's makes it almost impossible for me to kill because I can't just randomly spray 2-4D w/o killing all my roses. Hate this damned weed!
