Does anybody know how well these lilies perform compared to just regular inter-divisional crosses? Anyone have any?

I have some seedlings from a lily friend I sow last winter. The cross are Viva x (Lolypop x Viva). They have been acting rather strange since the seeds started to germinate but some of them are doing well now. Maby I'll have some of them blooming next year. I have been thinking about to do some back crossing of some of my lily seedlings but after I have seen how they have been acting I'm not so sure if that's a good idea.

The only difference between a backcross and a regular (F1) interdivisional cross is the mix of the genes. Unless you are talking about an exact cross, there would never be a general reason this would or would not be worse or better.
