Ann - The petal color is subtle, but that really makes the eye and edge pop. I think it's a beauty!

Nice seedling Ann, the heat seems to have washed the color out of several of mine so it may get better. Polar Snow has been gorgeous on a rebloom scape.
This is the seedling that won the Pensacola show, its on the third rebloom with a 37" scape, 5.50" flower

Thanks everyone for the encouraging comments about the seedling. I measured it last night and it is between 6 and 6.5". Fred, I hope you are right that its color may improve next year. I love your seedling from Parrot Moon X Lillians Banging Mangos. All three are stunning, but the orange one is special. I am glad that Polar Snow is performing well and hope that next year it and GRC will be outstanding for you.

Ann I love that seedling and to tell the truth I don't feel they al have to have deep intense color to be outstanding.

Fred I love the first one up here too. That and the last one on the other page are awesome and I would look seriously at them.

I'm catching up so have comments from several pages back.

Michele, I love your one with the drawn out eye.
Fred, the purple one with the triangular things going on is off the chain.
Ann, your baby is beautiful!

I am catching up also! Those are so pretty!
Fred - Too bad you have to destroy that one -- it is a beauty!

I like it when you guys show the parents and then the offspring - some of the babies that are produced surprise me!! Hilarious!

Ann, I LOVE that seedling! It's really different, and I love the color! I agree that the color doesn't have to be intense to really stand out. This one really stands out just like it is!

Thanks so very much, Natalie. I have several that are really washed out in color because of the heat. I wonder what it will look like next year - if it will have more color. I posted a couple more photos of today's bloom in the July blooms post.

Ann, I think we are all having some sort of problem with colors this year. I'm having more problems with blooms in general myself, and when you add horrible color on top of it, this year has been a dud! I think your seedling will be even more amazing next year, if that's even possible, but I love it just like it is! I'd pass out if I grew a seedling that looked half as good!
