I just LOVE your dark violet seedling. I didn't mean to hijack your thread, maybe I should have just started my own lol.

I meant to reply earlier but I got soooo busy with stuff. Then when everyone commented on Raymon Duane I decided to go ahead and register it. He is getting it for his birthday, which is later on this month. I found a better picture of it and sent it with registration.

The cross was purchased seeds from the lilyauction, Big City Eye X Scott Bennett. It is one I actually grew from a seed. I do have one named for my other son Guy Douglas, but that one is a seedling I bought from Mary Gaskins. It is a gorgeous one that I have sold a few times. I have posted it before on my thread and it is in the database here.

Way to go DOT!!!! A wonderful addition to the family. I hope you will have a few to sale and I sure hope you have a few of Guy Douglas, It's a favorite that I'd love to grow. Wonderful plants and such great photos you have of them. Thanks so much for sharing all your beauties with us.

I'm going to divide the plant and give him half, I won't have enough to sell any yet. He just liked it really well and I decided to name it for him. I think I only have 5 or 6 fans so far.

It is stunning.

Here are few more of my seedlings that bloomed this year. None of the three has the form I'm looking for, but they do have a lot of desirable attributes, so I will be using them as bridge plants.

This last one is a dip spider - Black Plush X Starman's Quest. Last year, in its first bloom season, it had better branching and bud count, but this year was so dry that could account for the decrease. I've divided it and planted in full sun.

LOVE the Black Falcon seedling. The color is intense. Also love the other seedlings and am glad you are holding onto them. They may improve a lot to your liking by next year.

Love the Black Plush seedling!!! A lot of my bud count was lower this year too.

Thanks, Stephanie - With the Black Falcon Ritual cross I was hoping for a dark purple UF with teeth. Instead I got a triangular 6-inch bloom with irridescent color. I really love the color on this seedling, and I plan to keep crossing it with purple UFs.

Cindy - Thanks for your supportive comment about the Black Plush seedling. Last year it had 4-way branching and 13-14 buds; this year only 8-10 buds on 3-way branching. It multiplies like crazy. I think I have 11 or 12 fans already.
