Natalie - Do your daylilies usually start blooming in July where you are? You'll have scads of flowers when I'm down to just one or two here and there.

Gorgeous blooms everyone! Many of my scapes are drying up and dropping buds, even with watering every 2-4 days. Not sure how much more bloom I am going to have if this extreme heat continues ~Jan

Debra, I usually don't get any blooms until July 4th every year, which is crazy that they always seem to start on that date. This year though, they were much earlier. and I had my first bloom on June 18. I've got some that are on their last bloom already. I have only had one daylily that reblooms, and it only did so once 2 years ago. I still have lots of them that haven't bloomed yet, but all of those are the ones that I planted in August of last year. The more established ones got a jump on things!

Jan, your seedlings and other flowers are gorgeous!

Mona - Yes, Bullfrog Kisses is supposed to be pod and pollen fertile. It's so hot now that I'm not hybridizing with it. But I plan to next year.

Cindy - With all those spidery ones you have, you do need Margo Reed Indeed. It's sinfully fertile.
