I took my annual trip to Perfect Perennials today. It's the garden of Diane & Stuart Kendig. As usual it was lovely, and I came home with a bunch of lovelies. I got several late bloomers so no pics yet of those. They are Micro Chip, Strawberries on Parade, Bayard Lombard, & Sellstation Friendship. I also brought home Veronicastrum Fascination and Aesclepias Tuberosa(butterfly weed). And Mom Got Echinacea Tomato Soup & Tiki Torch to add to her collection of coneflowers. If the thermometer doesn't melt we may go back for their open house next Sat. I'm sure I can find a few more things to bring home.

BB I didn't take any landscape shots this year, can't believe I didn't think of it. Their pups were hiding from the heat, so no doggie pics either this year. I may have some from last year if I get a chance to look thru my old stuff.

Shannon, They are actually in PA. They are just West of York,PA.Which is about 1 hour north of Baltimore up I-83(unless it's rush hour, Then it's prob. 11/2) It is about 40 mins from my house.

Juli, it's in Southern Pa. near the city of York. It is a beautiful garden Diane & Stu do a great job and they have several young helpers that keep the place looking good and running smooth. Mom was chatting with one of the young ladies who work for them and she has been with them for 9 years! Lucky to keep good help in any industry.

Beautiful!!! I am surprised that they still have so many daylilies bloom. Mine are blooming out so fast because of the heat. I probably have more than half already done.
