No clue where this came from but every bloom is perfect. Scape height is 27" with a 5.75" bloom.

2 more opened in different locations today, so I'm guessing if may have been from Maryott as he sends a zillion fans. I'll send him an email after the ship season is over.

Can you get a picture were we can see the face straight on??? I have one called Sugar Glider that is reblooming, or was last week, that it looks something like that. I just can't tell with this view if it's really like it or not.

It's close. Here's a photo:

This is from last year. It did not like being divided and repotted last year, so I only got a few blooms this year with no photos. It is consistently a great flower and I have several seedlings from it that may bloom next year.

It's not Sugar Glider, (sorry Mona lol) but it is very pretty. If you got it from Maryott's I'm sure he can look at your past orders and name it for you.

Sorry for the late reply as we had power blips yesterday with 105 temps. I sent pic to Bill M and he doesn't recognize it and then I poured over Plant Step software. The only thing in Plant Step that I'm missing is seedlings of Linda's Magic x Cancun Honeymoon. So at 6 am this morning I started digging and did find a tag which only "sdlg L? ??" is legible. And the tag is not attached to the plant. If this beauty is really one of my sdlgs, I'm doing a daylily dance from Delaware to California and back. Why I would have seperated seedlings in 3 locations is another mystery. So this one will not get registered until I can be sure it's mine. And the deja vu is I remember now my paint marker had dried up and using a sharpie, thinking I would replace tags when the the new paint markers were purchased and of course, didn't. Lesson learned.

Mona thanks for helping with posting your photo of SG. P.S. to Dot - After seeing your pics of Ehren Thomas, I just had to buy it.

I din't think it was SG either after getting another look at my picture. SG has a much more defined eye zone. Oh well, I tried.

I would dance too if it was one of my seedling. It's a beautiful thing and I hope you find out what it is. I've got a few seedlings this year that I'm just sure, a seed dropped in their pot and when I divided them last year they bloom for the first time this year. I've got a cross of Victorian Lace x Boundless beauty that had some of the prettiest purple blooms. REally purple. So, I really think I have more unknowns than I thought!!! Big Grin Sometimes the truth is not ever known in the daylily world. We have way too many things that can happen. That's what makes our babies and the quest for more babies so much fun.
