My favorite is Tiffany. I bought it because my dog's name is Tiffany, but love the color (warm pink with hint of yellow at the base of the petals) and scent. I have been collecting her descendants -Grenada (aka Donatella), Belinda's Dream.

My pics are on archive CDs/DVDs, but here is a link to Tiffany on help me find.

Gosh, Andi. According to HMF, Tiffany has 134 descendants. Good luck.

I also love Tiffany and Granada, but Belinda's Dream has been an utter failure in my garden. I know it's supposed to get huge and bushy, but it's been a scraggly thing here. I've tried growing it twice and I give up.

I briefly had Granada Sunset...before it died, it graced me with a bloom...it had a marvelous fragrance, dare I say, better than Granada itself?

I love Granada Sunset. It is a fragile little thing, isn't it? Mine's still alive, but how I wish I could find a grafted one!

I wonder why it is so weak? I think I will ask Kim Rupert...think he is the one who hybridized it...
Would Burling graft you one?

She probably would. I should dig up all of my frail roses and send them to her. Maybe she could graft all of them onto hardier stock. You should see the Smoky she grafted for me. It's magnificent!

I wrote to Kim and asked him, 'what does Granada Sunset want?' I will tell you what he says.

Belinda is small for me, also, but last year was her first year. She survived her first winter, so I'll see how she does.

Grenada Sunset is pretty, but my garden is not the place for a "fragile thing." I am grateful to get blooms from my hardy things.

The easter bunny blew several plastic easter candy wrappers and a big piece of pink plastic into my garden. No candy or anthing, just a bunch of plastic to untangle from my rosebushes. Humbug.

I love roses that smell like old fashioned roses. I like double delight.
I have a joseph's coat that climbs like crazy and I love all the different colors on it but he is very thorny.

I don't know that Granada Sunset is a fragile thing...I am going to try it again when I can get another one...it may be one of those roses that does better grafted than on its own roots.
Oh BTW Grenada, is the island in the Caribbean, and Granada is the rose....

Well, I'm going to revisit this and state that, for a 100% fact, BlueGirl is my ultimate favorite rose. Not only does it produce the most spectacular of the silver/blue roses, they smell like heaven, last a long time both cut & on stem, have magnificently long stems that practically beg to be cut, PLUS IT SURVIVED THE BEST OUT OF EVERYONE THIS WINTER!! Yay!!! I'm dreading having to prune this beautiful rose bush, as it actually *did* take off finally last year (had a long beginning where I wasn't sure if it was going to do anything), but stayed 100% green from graft to tippy top of each cane! Almost every other single rose had some major winter kill... only BlueGirl had no blackened canes at all! And no, it's not because it's in a protected spot or anything as it was less than a foot away from Medallion and that poor thing.. I had to chop it down almost to the graft. *sigh* But talk about a no-holds-barred, undemanding rose! I love it! Now, I'm just waiting patiently for some buds to appear.. but I have to have leaves, first!! LOL!!
Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet...
