I already have a place picked out for it. Hybrid teas struggle here, mainly because I am not attentive enough, but this one looks to be sustainable in my garden.
It may even surpass Belinda's Dream.

It looks luscious, Cindi. I don't think it's ever been available here before, but it seems to have been a big hit in Europe since 2006.

Here's a description from HMF:

"A new and distinct variety of Hybrid Tea rose plant is provided that forms
at mid-season abundantly and substantially continuously attractive highly
fragrant Orient Pink blossoms. The buds are substantially conical-shaped.
The vegetation is very strong and attractive glossy dark green foliage is
formed. Excellent resistance to Marssonina is displayed. The plant is
particularly well suited for providing attractive ornamentation in the
landscape."

When I saw the comment about "excellent resistance to Marssonina," I thought: "What fresh hell is this?" It turns out to be just another name for black spot, however, so we can all relax.

That's a great way to phrase it.
Our heat is so bad that I'm inside with a pounding headache. I probably need to put off pitching any more mulch onto beds until it cools off, back under 100. Every year I say no new beds, no new plants and here i am again, pitching mulch onto new beds. And contemplating September rose orders...
It is so encouraging to see new roses trialed in no spray conditions. I pledge to do my best to support the hybridizers and growers moving in that direction.
That's my new justification for buying more roses, like it?

I was wondering whether European roses get the same diseases as ours - I guess so, just with different names.

"Marssonina" sounds so much more classy than Black Spot.

Cindi - Be prepared for the heat to break! Today's high is supposed to be 90, tomorrow's only 71!! ABOUT TIME!!! That means you'll start to see cooler temps too. This has been murder.. I lost a few roses (Shreveport & Lavender Angel from Cliff, plus a few others here & there) and I lost my tri-color beech, too. :(

I won't be getting this rose for 2 reasons: I'm not too fond of pink roses & I hate Star roses. I will not purposefully buy a Star Rose. Every time I do, damned thing dies quickly & without any reason why. I have found them to be very weak roses IMO.
