ya, that's some kind of orchid, definitely.

It looks like an Erythronium, a trout lily. Remember, Sue? I told you it began with an "E." Although Toni may be right. I've seen little bog Orchids that look like that too.

Here are some Erythronium photos, but I don't see that particular bloom among them. I'll check out the bog orchids too.

Yesterday four of the feral kittens finally got spayed and neutered. I saved a little money unexpectedly when the "girliest" one of the bunch, Samara, turned out to be a boy.

Louise (Weegy12 in Dave's Garden and ScrwyLouie here in Cubits) came up with the perfect name change. Samara is now Samurai.

Please excuse flashbulb eyes.

Oh, but he's a pretty pretty boy! Is he going to live with you permanently, or are you going to try & find him a different home?

Oh, Toni... If I knew anyone who wanted cats, I wouldn't have 25 of them. I think I'm stuck with all nine of the ferals. Samurai is one I'm particularly attached to by now, though, so there's no question I would be keeping him.

Zuzu, how is magnolia doing? She was a sweetie.

Magnolia's just fine. She has recovered beautifully from her surgery and the trouble with her eye was just an adhesion, so it was also surgically repaired and she now has two lovely eyes.

The vet estimated her age at 5-6 months, so I guess she's going to be that dream kitty everyone always wants when they say they wish cats could stay kittens forever. She's just barely 4 pounds.

She's my sweetie, I got to get a little snuggle in with her yesterday.

awwww! Sounds like my little bitty Cybele! She's clocking in at a whole 3.7lbs (just got weighed last September) and the vet asked if she was fixed yet as she's so young. DH looked at the vet like she was a moron and told her that Cybele is almost 4 years old and has been fixed for 3 years. We got her at like age 3-4 weeks and DH actually had to teach her how to eat harder foods (we had her on KMR for about 3 weeks). But you wouldn't want to bet against her in a fight!

On a different note, this picture of Odin is priceless. Or worthless, haven't quite figured it out. :D :D :D (note: no birds were harmed in this picture, much to Odin's dismay)
