OK Dave... I realize that you cannot give us a tool-tip that identifies the "random plant" pic. I have a bad habit of not seeing the random plant until my page is in the process of refreshing, and when I see it, I want to go look at it in more detail, and I'm too late.

I'm ok with all that - it's just the way it is.

BUT... I just saw a gorgeous daylily in the random plants, and all I could see before my page refreshed is the name of the photographer.

Do we have a way to search for a member by their user name? If we don't, do you envision us ever having that? Cause if we did, then as long as the member wasn't one of those who have 10K images in the database, I could search for their name, then see the pics they've posted, and find the daylily that caught my eye just before it was replaced with a new random plant.

As always, it's perfectly ok to tell me "too bad, Mary - -that's not possible." I just appreciate that you listen to us, and consider even our crazy ideas.

Yes, go to the bottom of this page and click on "Memberlist" and right there is a search by username.

Mary, I've hit the back button to go back to see the random plant. Done this loads of times. It works!

It's what I do.

It doesn't work if you were refreshing the main page to see if there are new posts, which is what I most often do.

I really enjoy the random plants pics and often sit and refresh the page to see what comes up and then if is really appealing I enlarge it and look at the other pictures in that page.

I do that sometimes, too

Oh, yes! The random plant feature is fun! And if I see something I like or something I recognize, I click on it to see if I can add any data details to the database.
