My local beekeeper put a Mason bee box in my yard. I think a leaf cutter bee moved in:

It doesn't surprise me. I have lots of different leaf cutter bees. Here's two different species I've found recently:

How very interesting. I know there are such things as leaf cutter bees because they seem to like my rose leaves especially (and I let them dispoil them because of the good they do). But I had no idea what they looked like or that there is more then one type. Thanks for the information.....Maryl
