Good for you. I ran out of room at least 300 roses ago, but I just planted the following:

Comtes des Champagnes
The Endeavour
A Shropshire Lad
The Charlatan
Sir John Betjeman
Cherries 'n' Cream
Leander
Easy Does It
Pinnacle

They came from Garden Valley Ranch, Regan, and Sue.

I've also ordered 10 from the Chamblee's co-op Charlene's handling. I can't believe that the price, including shipping, for all 10 is under $80. And three of these are big ticket items -- David Austin roses.

No, Steph, the Pinnacle is grafted. It was a lucky find. Sue told me Lowe's had Pinnacle, so she and I went to my local Lowe's a couple of weeks ago, but they had already sold all of their roses and didn't have a single rose left. Can you imagine that? Sue said she'd go to her local Lowe's and get it for me. Not only did they still have one; they had knocked it down to half-price. It was one of the nice ones in peat pots, so I'm really happy with it.

I bought four more grafted roses when Sue and I went out a few days ago. Another one of The Endeavour, because the one from Regan looks pretty crummy; a Coffee Bean tree rose; Cinnamon Girl; and climbing Citrus Burst.

So far, I've only bought grafted roses this year, but I'll be getting 3 from Roses Unlimited, 10 from Chamblee's, 3 from Vintage, and 5 or 6 from Eurodesert very soon, and all of those will be own-root. You know I'd much rather buy grafted roses, but sometimes that's just not possible.

LOL! Dana - I have the same problem! My back yard is 75X174X60 ("U" shaped w/the house in the empty spot of the "U"), and I'm going to be trying to squash all the roses I've ordered this year in the back! LOL!!! DH keeps asking where am I going to put them all, and I tell him "I'll find room!"

Toni: What gardener hasn't used that phrase, "I'll find room," or, "I'll make room"? Some of my roses are going to be moved this year because they're not shown to best advantage where they are currently, so that will make room for 2 more of my newly ordered ones! The other six, I'll find room.

Oh, Zu, do you have Sheila's Perfume? That's one I've been keeping an eye on for some time now, too. Anyone who has it, please let me know how you like it.

I do have Sheila's Perfume and I really like it, but nothing compares to the raptures it induces in JasperDale (now inexplicably known as CalSurf73). I hope he'll show up and gush over it for you.

I really like Sheila's Perfume too. It's pretty, has been relatively disease resistant and the scent is fantastic.

This was my favorite photo of her last year

Okay. 'Nuff said. Y'all have convinced me that SP should move to the top of my mile-long list! If this keeps up, I'm going to have to rent space in my neighbors' yards for some roses. Whistling

I got mine from Garden Valley Ranch (own root) but I think all they have of it right now is the 5 gallon ($$). Very nice roses though.
